Help improve Rep Star

Data sharing agreement · Version 1 · Effective November 3, 2026

Rep Star is made by Bog Interactive LLC, a small independent studio in Florida, USA ("Bog Interactive", "we" and "us"). You can reach us at any time at contact@boginteractive.com.

This agreement explains one optional choice in Settings called Help improve Rep Star. Please read it before you decide, and email us if anything is unclear. You never have to agree in order to use Rep Star.

Sharing is only available to people who are 18 or older and signed in. If you are not signed in, everything stays on your device. Only you can turn sharing on, and only for your own information. It is never switched on automatically, by an update, or as part of signing in or buying Pro.

If you agree, Rep Star sends a copy of the information below to Bog Interactive, and keeps sending new information until you stop. Your existing history is included, except progress photos taken before you agreed, which are never shared.

From your setup, this includes your goal, experience level, days a week, equipment, the areas you chose to bring up, and which body diagram you picked (a display choice, never treated as your gender), along with the plan the app built, any changes you made, your goals and the program you chose.

About your body, it includes your height, every weight you log, the measurements you enter, and your check-ins with their dates and the areas you want to work on next.

For each workout, it includes the date, start and end time, length, name and muscle group, and for each set the weight, reps or time and whether you completed or skipped it. It also includes cardio details such as time, distance, level, speed and calories; your personal records; the starting weights the app suggested; custom exercises and workouts you create; and how you use the rest timer.

It also includes each suggestion the app gives you, such as a starting weight, extra set, goal, coach tip or plan change, whether you accepted, changed or skipped it, what you actually lifted afterward, and the Recovery screen's readings when you trained.

To show how the app is used, it includes which screens and features you use and how often, how long you use the app, where you stopped if you did not finish setup, and error reports showing what failed and where. Error reports never include photos.

About your device, it includes the Rep Star version, whether you use the Google Play app or the website, your device type, operating system, browser and screen size, your language and time zone, and your app settings.

Finally, it includes the progress photos you add in a check-in after you agree, with the pose and date. Photos are shared at the size Rep Star stores them, and the app removes hidden camera details such as location.

Rep Star never shares your name, email or Google account details. It never shares anything you type as free text, such as workout, seat or check-in notes, because people often write personal things there. Rep Star does not collect your location, contacts, messages, other apps or files, or anything from your microphone or camera beyond the photos you choose to add. It has no ads and no advertising ID. If you buy Pro, Google Play handles the payment and we never see your card.

Rep Star gives advice on which exercises to do, how heavy to start, when to add a set and when a muscle has rested enough. That advice is only as good as the evidence behind it, and a small studio cannot test every plan on hundreds of people, so we ask people who are willing to help.

We use what you share to check that plans suit people's goals, experience and equipment and that people stick with them; to compare suggested starting weights with what people actually lift and adjust the formulas; to see whether coach tips, extra sets and goal changes help or get skipped; to compare check-ins over time with the training before them; to check the Recovery screen's rest times; to find and fix errors and confusing steps; and to decide what to improve next.

We may describe what we learn in general terms, such as "most beginners lifted about 10% more than their suggested starting weight". Findings like that are always totals across many people. We never publish individual information or photos.

We will never sell, rent or trade your information, give it to data brokers, or use it for advertising. We will never post or display your photos or information anywhere, including app stores, our website, social media or marketing. We will never use your photos or information to train artificial intelligence, or let any other company do so. We will never use it to make decisions about you outside the app, such as insurance, credit, employment or housing, or share it with employers, insurers, gyms or anyone else who asks. We will not contact you about what you shared unless you write to us first, and we will never treat you differently for choosing not to share.

Shared information can only be accessed by Bog Interactive, through a private page that only the studio's own account can open. That account uses two-step sign-in, and every access is logged. The information is stored with Cloudflare, which runs Rep Star's servers and stores it on our behalf without using it for its own purposes. Nobody else has access. If anyone else would ever need access, we will ask for your agreement again first.

Progress photos have extra protections. Only photos you take after agreeing are shared. Shared photos may be reviewed privately by Bog Interactive, alongside the suggestions the app made at the time, to check that the app is recommending the right training. The app itself never scans or analyzes your photos.

Shared photos are never downloaded to a personal device, printed, forwarded or shown to anyone else, and they are stored under a random code instead of your name. A photo can still show your face, tattoos or surroundings, so you may want to frame or crop your photos. If you delete a check-in, its shared photos are deleted too. Please only add photos of yourself, and never of anyone under 18.

Your weight, measurements, photos and workouts are health and fitness information, which some laws treat as sensitive, such as Washington's My Health My Data Act and the European Union's GDPR. We only collect it for this purpose with your clear agreement, we do not sell it, and we only share it as described above. Rep Star is a workout planner and log, not a medical device, and nothing you share is used to diagnose or treat any condition.

When you agree, Rep Star creates a random sharing code, and shared information is stored under that code, separately from your account backup and without your name or email. We keep one private link between your account and your code so we can delete everything if you stop sharing or delete your account. This means your information does not name you, but it is not fully anonymous, because a photo or a detailed history could identify you, so we treat all of it as personal information.

Everything you share travels over an encrypted connection and is encrypted where it is stored. No system is perfectly secure. If shared information is ever exposed in a way that could affect you, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

If you stop sharing, nothing new is sent and everything you shared is deleted within 30 days. If you delete your account, everything you shared is deleted with it, also within 30 days. If you do not open the app for 2 years, everything you shared is deleted. Copies can remain in our provider's backups for up to 30 more days before they are permanently removed. General totals that cannot identify anyone may be kept.

You can stop at any time in Settings by opening Help improve Rep Star and tapping Stop sharing and delete what I shared, or by emailing us. Stopping does not change anything else: your workouts, photos and backup stay on your account, the app works the same, and Pro is not affected. You can agree again later if you change your mind.

Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of what you shared, or ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Email contact@boginteractive.com from the address you sign in with, and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also complain to your local data protection authority or state attorney general. Using these rights never costs anything.

Bog Interactive is based in the United States. Cloudflare may process shared information in the United States and other countries where it runs data centers, so if you live elsewhere, your information may be stored under different privacy laws. We protect it as this agreement describes wherever it is.

Sharing is only offered to adults 18 and over. If we learn that someone under 18 has shared information, we will delete it and turn off sharing on that account.

We will only give shared information to a government or court when the law requires it, such as under a valid court order. We will provide only what is required and tell you first unless the law does not allow us to.

If Rep Star is ever sold or transferred, shared information would only go with it if the new owner keeps every promise in this agreement. We would tell you beforehand, so you could stop sharing and have it deleted first.

If we ever want to collect something new, use shared information in a new way, or give someone new access, we will ask for your agreement again first. If you do not agree, sharing stops and what you shared is deleted. Small wording changes will be dated at the bottom of this page.

When you agree or stop sharing, we keep a record of the date and time, the version of this agreement you saw, and your choice, even after your shared information is deleted. The record contains none of the shared information itself.

The Rep Star privacy policy explains everything else, including how sign-in and backup work and how to delete your account. If the two ever seem to disagree about shared information, this agreement applies.

Bog Interactive LLC, Florida, USA. Email contact@boginteractive.com.

In the app, you agree by ticking "I am 18 or older" and "I have read and agree to this agreement, and I understand what is shared, how it is used, who can access it, and how to stop", then tapping "I agree, turn on sharing". Sharing is off until you do.
