Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 3, 2026
This policy explains how Bog Interactive LLC ("Bog Interactive", "we", "us") handles consumer health data in Plate Tally, our workout tracker. Some state laws, such as Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer health data law and Connecticut's data privacy law, ask companies to publish this information separately. It adds to the Plate Tally privacy policy. Our games do not collect consumer health data.
1. The consumer health data in Plate Tally
Plate Tally only has the information you choose to enter. That can include:
- Your height, your weight and your weigh-ins.
- Body measurements, such as waist, chest, arms or hips.
- Progress photos and check-ins.
- Your workouts: exercises, sets, reps, weights, cardio time, distance and calories, and personal records.
- Your fitness goal, experience level, training days, equipment and the areas you want to work on.
- Estimates the App works out from your workouts, such as how rested each muscle group is.
2. Where it comes from
Only from you, when you type it or add a photo in the App. We do not get health data from other companies, wearables, other apps or your phone's sensors.
3. How it is collected and used
If you do not sign in, this information stays on your device and we never receive it. If you choose to sign in with Google, it is copied to your account on our servers so you can back it up and use it on more than one device. That backup and sync is the reason we receive it, unless you also turn on the optional Help improve Plate Tally sharing (section 5). The App also uses what you enter to suggest plans, starting weights and goals, and those suggestions are worked out on your device. We do not use consumer health data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to guess other things about your health.
4. Sharing
We do not share consumer health data with third parties or affiliates. It is stored with Cloudflare, Inc., which runs our servers and database and processes it only on our behalf. Google Sign-In handles signing in and does not receive your health data. We would only disclose it if the law requires us to, for example under a valid court order.
5. Consent
We collect consumer health data to provide the features you use. Settings also offers an optional choice called Help improve Plate Tally. Only if you are signed in, 18 or older, and agree on its own screen (separate from everything else), a copy of your health and fitness information and the progress photos you add afterward is used to check and improve the App's plans and suggestions. It may be reviewed privately by Bog Interactive, it is never sold or shared with third parties, and you can withdraw at any time in Settings, which deletes what you shared. See the Help improve Plate Tally agreement. Saying no does not change how the App works for you. If we ever want to collect or share consumer health data for any other purpose, we will ask for your separate, clear consent first.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Confirm whether we collect or share your consumer health data, and give you access to it.
- Tell you which third parties or affiliates we have shared it with. Today the answer is none, apart from the service provider above.
- Delete it.
- Stop collecting it, by withdrawing your consent. For Help improve Plate Tally, tap "Stop sharing and delete what I shared" in Settings.
To delete everything yourself: in the App, open Settings, then Account, then "Delete my account and cloud data". If you cannot open the App, see how to delete your account. For any other request, email contact@boginteractive.com from the email address you sign in with. We answer within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why, and we will never take more than 90 days in total. Using your rights is free.
7. Appeals
If we turn down your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer with the word "Appeal". We will respond within 45 days and explain our decision. If we still deny your appeal, you can contact your state attorney general. Washington residents can file a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General.
8. Keeping it safe
Information you back up travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and is encrypted where it is stored. Only Bog Interactive can access our database. Deleted data can remain in our database provider's protective backups for up to 30 days before it is permanently removed.
9. Location and geofencing
Plate Tally does not use your location, and we never set up virtual boundaries around health care locations or any other places.
10. Children
Plate Tally is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
11. Contact and changes
Questions: email contact@boginteractive.com or contact Bog Interactive. If we change this policy, the effective date above will change, and if a change would let us collect or share consumer health data in a new way, we will ask for your consent first.
